These cotton reels mount directly into the mounting points on the rear swingarm offering the best of both worlds in terms of crash protection and functionality with the ability to use R&G cotton reels, which offer excellent crash protection to those components located towards the rear as well as the ability to lift up the rear of the bike with a paddock stand for maintenance and tyre changes. Available in Black, Orange or White . Sold in Pairs.

Cotton reels are oversize paddock stand bobbins, which screw into the paddock stand holes in your swingarm. They offer the dual purpose of protecting your swingarm and enabling the bike to be lifted on a rear stand. What is Spindle Bobbin Crash Protection?
Using Evotech Performance's experience and innovative design, EP Rear Spindle Bobbins for the Kawasaki Z900 offer robust protection for your motorcycle. The nylon bobbin head is supported by an aluminium inner, and held in place using a stainless steel through-rod. Should an incident occur, the bobbin is expected to take impact first and should rotate to reduce stress and minimise damage on the rear wheel.
